The Tony Award Winning musical created by Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan. Based on the 1967 film of the same name it tells the story of Millie, a small town girl who comes to New York to marry for money instead of love.

Includes the songs...Not for the life of me… Only in New York… Forget about the boy… I’m falling in love with someone… Gimme Gimme...

 

 

 

Thoroughly Modern Millie will be playing at Heywood Civic Centre in March 2009

.

Performances each evening at 7.30 pm, and a Saturday matinee at 2:15 pm.

Rehearsals for Thoroughly Modern Millie started on 3rd November 2008, anyone wishing to be involved is still more than welcome. Rehearsal are at ST. James’ church Hall in Heywood on Monday and Wednesday nights.
